What is the difference between Mini, Petite and Deluxe Sessions? Which Session type is right for me?

Mini Sessions are very short sessions that come with a handful of images. They are great for when you need just a few updated images. Because Minis are so fast-paced they are perfect for families who know that their kids will be warm to the camera from the start.

Petite Sessions are usually about 30 minutes and come with more than double the images of a Mini Session. These are perfect for families, couples, maternity, solo sessions, etc who are looking for something slower-paced than a Mini Session with time for everyone to warm up a bit.

Deluxe Sessions are usually about an hour in length, come with more than double the images of a Petite Session and gives us time for everything! From plenty of time for everyone to warm up and get comfortable to the camera, to time to move past any potential wardrobe malfunctions or meltdowns, to time for an outfit change if desired, to time to explore and photograph with multiple backdrops to get a wide variety of shots. It even allows time for snack breaks to hit the reset button if needed! Deluxe Sessions are great for the client who wants a relaxed photoshoot experience with a ton of images at the end!

Additionally:

Minis are held only on certain dates/times/locations as determined by DJP. For Petite and Deluxe Sessions, we work together to determine the best date/time/location based on your vision and needs for the Session.

Petite and Deluxe Session clients have access to my Client Closet; Mini Session clients do not.

The longer the session is, the more time we will have to get a wider range of shots which ultimately gives you more quality images in your Gallery!

What is the difference between ‘Pre-Set’ & ‘Custom’ Sessions?

I generally roll out my availability every 3 or so months to book for the following 3 or so months. I build into my calendar ‘Pre-Set’ and ‘Custom’ options. Pre-Set options are where I have already picked the date, times and location so all you have to do is select your timeslot and then I send over your booking link and you’re all set! Custom options are for those who want to have more input with their session. Together we come up with a vision and then choose a date, time and location that works to meet that vision. There are limited Custom dates available per month and are first-booked, first-served. Once a Custom date is booked, I may book additional clients on that date however the location will automatically be set based on the location that the first client selected.

Mini Sessions are only available on select Pre-Set session dates (usually 1-2 dates per month). Petite and Deluxe Sessions can be booked on Pre-Set dates or on Custom dates.

How does the DJP Client Closet work?

The DJP Client Closet is available to Petite and Deluxe Session Clients. It is an ever-growing closet of gorgeous clothing (mainly for women and little girls) that my clients can use during their sessions. Clients have the opportunity to try items on before their Session if they choose. I bring the item(s) to the session along with a pop-up changing tent. Also, I handle all washing and care so all you have to do is show up, put it on and look fabulous! I am currently working on a streamlined way for Clients to be able to view the available items in the Client Closet so stay tuned for that!
